Laser Optical Incapacitator

Iraq and Afghanistan continue to be the the proving grounds for new non-lethal defense technology. The Pentagon is now issuing laser optical incapacitators for use at checkpionts in Iraq. It causes temporary blindness when used against offenders. "Laser 'optical incapacitator' issued in Iraq". This non-lethal technology will hopefully prevent tragic civilian deaths at checkpoints.
